COMMUNITY PLACEMENT PROGRAMS (C.P.P)
SCOPE through its community placement program has worked with volunteers from different countries and within Kenya to offer their much needed services to the community. The program offers opportunity to both professional and students who have willingness to work for others without the expectations of pay or any tangible gain. The activity takes 3months for individuals involved.
Through this program SCOPE is targeting to achieve three key areas namely;

  • Capacity building of student and professional.

  • Self sustaining program

  • Generating additional income.(business development services)


WHY COMMUNITY PLACEMENT PROGRAM
The program runs for 3months for students and 1-3years for professionals.
An individual is placed in a host family/host home.
The program aims at changing the behavior and the livelihoods positively in poor backgrounds society through the person placed there where he/she act as a change agent.
Gives platform to individuals by gaining experience and sharing what was learnt while working in SCOPE program.
The program provides much needed income to support projects and the vulnerable people in the community.
The individual placed is exposed to different cultures and lifestyle where he/she is expected to learn.

REQUIREMENTS FOR JOINING C.P.P
1. Willingness and confidence to deal with different personality in the community.
2. Be a skilled professional/student who is ready to change livelihoods in the society.
3. Be an adult of age 18years and above.
4. Provide medical insurance cover to cater for your health.
